The Frontier Institute is currently hiring for the following position:
Position Summary
Frontier Institute is seeking a talented and capable Education Outreach Coordinator, a key position reporting directly to the President and CEO. This position will be responsible for managing Frontier Institute’s education-focused training and outreach programs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Recruit, train and mobilize like-minded citizens to be ambassadors for education freedom.
- Act as a resource and first point-of-contact for education entrepreneurs and families seeking innovative education options.
- Nurture trusted relationships with elected officials and key stakeholders, making a compelling case for education freedom.
- Planning, coordinating, and executing regional training event plans.
- Represent Frontier Institute at external events, speaking engagements, working groups, coalition meetings, legislative committees etc.
Qualifications
- Travel: Candidates must be able to do in-state travel approximately 35% of the time
- Passionate: Knowledgeable about Montana education policy. Has a personal passion for Frontier’s vision of education freedom.
- Skilled Networker: Great interpersonal skills, natural at building and leveraging relationships
- Highly Conscientious: Considerate, thoughtful, organized and detail oriented team member
- Excellent Communicator: Extremely good writer, fearless public speaker, strong persuasive skills
Hours, Salary, Benefits: Part-time, salaried position. Expected approximately 20 hours per week. Flexible hours and vacation policy.
Location: Remote.
