Giving Thanks For Montana
"Regardless of whether it's a weekend outing on the ski slopes with family or a late night rodeo with friends, these are the things that make Montana, Montana."
As I watched the Cat-Griz coverage by GameDay this Saturday – as I’m sure you probably did too – I couldn’t help but feel an enormous sense of pride in our incredible state.
Despite freezing temperatures, Montanans from across the state came together to celebrate a rivalry fit only for the Last Best Place. But the truth of the matter is that this game isn’t just about football, it’s about the threads which tie all of us together. Regardless of whether it’s a weekend outing on the ski slopes with family or a late night rodeo with friends, these are the things that make Montana, Montana.
You see, despite our differences, we all share one thing – a deep love for our great state. This love for Montana binds us together, creating a community to which few other places can rival.
So as you sit down to cut into your Thanksgiving turkey, I’d encourage you to pause for a moment and remember how unbelievably lucky we are to call Montana, home.
From everyone at the Frontier Institute,
Happy Thanksgiving!
